Now that I think about it I gotta agree with you Kev. Spags most likely won't come to Philly unless the wide-nine is scrapped. He's already won one Super Bowl without using it. Then we have to go through a scheme change and adjustment period on D again. Looking at next year only, keeping Juan is probably the right call. But if we can get Spags to come here and keep Wash and the wide-nine now we are talking.

The Phillies are turning into the early to mid 2000's Yankees. (Which the 2010+ Yankees are doing as well) High-priced aging veteran core, good enough to dominate the regular season and get you to the playoffs every year almost guaranteed (now with 5th team, almost 100% that they make it to the play in game at least)then get beat by a team that gets hot at the right time and/or a team on paper they should beat.

I said this before, but welcome to expectations of awesomeness - most of the time you're going to be let down.

Larry, you don't have to point out his mistake like a douche. "You need to check your facts." People always say that it seems, when they want to put someone down for making a mistake. I'm sure the webmaster here does check his facts, but sometimes a mistake can go unnoticed. It's good that you pointed it out for Mr. Dude's sake so he can run his website with the most accurate information as possible, but to be a mega-douche about it, implying that he carelessly posts information, is unnecessary. I can't stand people like you, Larry.

Chamberlain DID eventually conquer his nemesis as the '66-'67 76ers went 68-13 en route to a championship, beating the Celtings along the way.

Not quite as optimistic about Broxton...

Adio,
Great article. As a Knicks fan I loathe Reggie Miller while I have much love for MJ, all Knicks fans deep down love MJ and hate Reggie. You got one thing wrong, that 8 points in 11 seconds was in the 1995 Eastern Semis. The Knicks vanquished the Pacers in 1993 (semis), 1994(eastern finals), 1999(eastern finals). The Pacers punked us in 1995 (semis), 1998(semis), and 2000 (eastern finals). Knicks-Heat was hammer vs nail with Knicks owning that series 3-1, and really, should've been 4-0. Bulls-Knicks was hammer vs nail as well. Knicks-Pacers that was the epitome of rivalry. I miss the heated battles with Reggie and his flopping antics. At the same time, I really enjoy watching Ray-Ray ball. Despite the fact he did it with Boston, I'm still happy for him that he got his ring. And yes, Jimmer is going to be a beast in the NBA. Hopefully the Knicks get him.
