Jack of All Sports

All my life I've been a die-hard sports fan. Despite growing up in San Diego, my number 1 team is the Philadelphia Eagles, thanks to my dad, who is from South Jersey. I am also not a Padres fan, but rather the Dodgers due to multiple reasons also involving my dad. At the end of the day, he is the biggest influence upon my intense passion and appreciation for the complexity, intensity, and competitiveness of sports. After graduating UCLA in 2008, I came back San Diego. It was in the fall of 2008 at an “Eagles” sports bar where I met Dr. Sportsfan and learned of his dream and mission of what has become Taking Back Sports. We have become close friends and with his guidance, I have embraced my talents as a writer to express myself under the pen name “Jack ‘Bauer’ of All Sports.” During the past couple of years, my mission as a sports writer has evolved into fighting injustice and wrongdoing in the sports world on behalf the greater integrity of all sports and the best interests of fans.
