What’s up?

I’m a former sportswriter turned fan blogger here at Taking Back Sports, a sports blog built from steel and brawn (and HTML). Even though my dream of actually getting paid for writing about sports died — I was laid off by the worst newspaper in perhaps the worst chain of newspapers, hard to overcome that! — my dream of telling people about how I felt about sports could not. Born from my desire to write witty sports articles in the mold of Bill Simmons was this website. I tend to write a lot about my favorite teams, which are:
